Problems with a game save: Judge Dredd

I have a PAL DVDRip of the game Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death, and I can save the game, and while I don't reset the console it's all fine and I can load saves and all, but as soon as I reset the console and play the game again, it's like the save has disappeared from my MC, the game says there is no save data present in the MC and I have to create another save. And if I go to the MC explorer, there are two saves with the game logo, but they have weird names. A friend of mine also complained about this, but with another game, World War Zero: Ironstorm, but strangely, that doesn't happen to me with WWZ:I. Also, both games are from Rebelion.
I have a V7 PS2, with a DMS3 V2 and the flash upgrade 2.0, and my friend has a V5 PS2 modded with a Neo 2 and Action Replay as boot disc.
Is anyway I can solve this problem?

Try updating to 2.2 (or now to 2.3, but that's a beta), 2.0 had some ugly bugs. Otherwise report errors to Rebellion.

updating the flash from 2.0 to 2.2 did the trick.
