Quick question on the HD Loader thing. (I am also new to all of this.) Do you need a mod chip, or can you just have a network adapter to run HD Loader?
Thanks!

You don't need a modchip. All you need to get hdloader is:
1. Network Adapter
2. Compatable HDD
3. HDLoader Software
With a modchip, you can install copied games.

can you run the hdloader and all the games intalled on the hd, without being connected to the internet? Like does it still work if the network adapter isnt connected to anything exept the hd? Im not into the whole online ps2 game scene, but this hdloader thing sounds pretty cool.
you dont have to connect to the internet at any point. Its just that the ports for HDD are on the network adapter.
