heres my ps2 with covers off. figured out why it wasn't as bright as some leds were blocked by the grill . i also have blue hdd lights but can't really show then cause i can't seem to get hdd activity

Alright here is one of the grill NEON kits I will be selling soon. The color ICE BLUE. NO LEDS! NO Glass tubes! Lasts a lifetime! Won't interfear with HDD! Gives off NO HEAT! 2 wire install with switch if needed! I also do the PS2 logo mods on my custom built jig with a router! Crappy Pics You have to see it!

Here is the PS2 LOGO mod. This is PS2Daddy's console he did a custom paint job I did the NEON. This mod I still do if anyone is interested.

PS2 logo is a 1 inch wide EL Strip. The Grill mod is 1/4 wide EL Strip. I also have used the EL strip on the XBOX those are 3 inch wide strips!

Here is my case mod that we provide. The logo has been routed out and filled with clear epoxy and uses EL wire.

how did you get them to blink??? ARe you pulling power from the 7805 regulator?

u can tap the hdd line or for ground and supply it with watever voltage along with a resistor to fit your led setup.

and where is the HDD line? I am sorry but not familiar with that.

Sure here's my shot. appologize fo them being kinda big(Although Not as large as Loy's) and sideways. I turned the camera sideways so the box would fit the viewfinder.

Yeah, I was trying to find out what shapes windows can come in w/o chopping out screw holes(like in an Xbox mod)before opening it and came across Ben999's tutorial. It's pretty much his thing with a few minor adjustments. Moved around the converter, used a halo, run a hard drive, and a few other subtle changes, but yeah. same stuff for the most part. I need to find another stock case somewhere... I think It's time to do something massivly diffrent.

i'm wanting to replace mine with clear case. One thing bout ben999's.. his converters were right in the damn way off the hdd port, lol, i dont think he was planning on getting one.

you are right all the mods are the same led windows and paint well not the ps2 and xbox on a pc mod but all the others are the same
