How do you use a normal HD in the PS2?

Maybe a dumb question but i see ppl saying they put a 120GB drive in their PS2 and i assume they are talking an off the shelf IDE comp drive.

Well how do you put it in? Is there an adaptor or something?

The network adaptor.. With the new DMS3 Flash to be released today or tomorrow we should see full compatibility with hdd compatible games and unofficial hdds... I have a maxtor 40gb hard drive in my ps2 at the moment running DMS3 HDD Explorer software and it works great... With the coming dms3 flash it will make things even better!
