FInal FAntasy XI help

i always wanted to play FF. I remember everyone in high school would talk about it. This is back in '97. So now i have it with HDD and it plays online. My question is...Is there somewhere on the net that shows or tells me how to play it? For example how to do missions and quest. I kind of get the purpose of the game bu tthen i dont. Like mining and where do i get cash? Stuff like that. If someone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

I always wanted to play FFXI but i have the slim ps2 and i don't think i will get a harddrive for it. is there anyway of making a backup of it and still be able to play online without being blocked by the server? I have Matrix Infinity. How much does it cost to play online?

lalala123: you can't play it on a pstwo, it requires a ps2 harddrive. and no you can't play with a backup just like you can't play with backups of other games online.
