Hi everyone, I have a couple of ps2 games and I want to save them on the hd if it's possible (if the ps2's have a hd) I know the x boxes have an 8 gigger but im a new owner of a ps2 so I don't know much about it.
Anyway, so I want to save the games on the hd and run them off the hd. Can this be done with or without a chip. If I need a chip, which one would you guys recommend to run games and even emulators on them?
Basically I need the total newb steps and instructions on how this is done.
All I have in mind is to copy all files from the game to a pc (btw how will the pc detect the cd and open the files automatically) or is there a special program?
Ok so I heard to decrypt the files, and convert them into ISO and ftp them onto the hd.

I think im wa ahead of myself, so any basic instructions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks :)

damn, that sucks

what's the purpose of people copying the files onto the hd and decrypting them?
Is that the process it takes to convert it into an iso, burn it and run it off a modded ps2?

Whow, whow where did you hear about copying files to the HD then decrypting them? No one is doing that.

You take the dvd to your computer and then use a program called DVD Decrypter to make an iso which you can burn.

We really should make a sticky about this. I'm sick and tired of people asking for this without searching the forum beforehand.
