Doesn't matter if Sony is, its against the rules to post anything related to Pirating.

Any DNAS related materials will be deleted on sight. We don't want to have to move the site to a "faster server." ;)

Well, consittering there site is only used for like 3 people online at a time...Having 20 noobs on asking "CAn I have DNAS I.D's!?" is to much for there server to handle.

I thought I figured that Sony has forced the ******* and PS2Info Site to remove any mention of DNAS IDs from their forums...

Am I wrong or what....

Primenal

I'd say your probaly right...Since the homepage says "DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT DNAS I.D's!"

salty than a muther...

at least it's public now, even if sony starts banning consoles, just don't be an idiot and use an id that 50 other people are using.

some people have the nerve to talk $hit but you know their ass is downloading the apps just like everyone else. i mean damn they were even posting multiple replys in the first dnas related post asking questions about it.
and now for the riddle...

what do you call a hippopotamus from greece???

why a hippo-crete of course ;) ;) ;)

Like I wrote in another thread, if you are enjoying on-line games you should buy the original and support the people who developed it.
Buy the Original and make a back-up copy of your Original Game to use it on-line if you want.

Chip&Chop.

Discussions of DNAS related topics are one thing... posting disc ID's is another. PS2Newz recommends anyone wishing to discuss "cracking" DNAS use the PS2NFO.COM forums instead.

What I am going to do, if go to my local Blockbuster or Hollywood Video, and get the DNAS ID's, rent the game there, and apply it to my copied version...just keep to myself and private...

And I suggest everyone else do the same...

When you all get banned from Sony's server(s), don't bother posting here asking us how to fix it. And I hope someone saved some of those flip-top profits for bail money.

Again... if you require DNAS-related info, head over to PS2NFO.COM :p

Your not suppose to post DISC ID

"Any posts regarding DNAS disc ID's will immediately be deleted and the poster banned"

Quoted from 'Paulitix'

I dunno if it makes a difference....but theres all this talk about $ony this, $ony that.... I thought they didnt even maintain the servers, except for their own games... Isn't that why EA doesnt support Xbox, Xbox Live wants to control all the servers and EA aint havin it.

I never thought about this, could this have any validitiy to it?

Sony controls the DNAS servers, just not the servers which the games themselves run on.

i go this from another fourm on paradoxs so called leak

HONGKONGFUEY

Just a few words on the statement that Paradox put out a few days ago regarding their leaked release, although I respect them for what they have done over the years I had their releases on my old commodore 64. What their little spokemen put out had a bunch of untrues littered in it which made me think either they are recruiting 12 year olds or they have really lost touch with the scene, for 1 things dont leak with out a price, so dont bitch about it, and second and most important, ps2 games dont have exclusive id's on each disk, the statement regarded PC games and seperate registered numbers, yes that is true but they are not printed on the disk, they are labels on the cover, the disk itself is just a regular mass produced burn. Again they said they had so much more than the webmonkeys that had downloaded there so called leaked diskid disk, well if they had so much more knowledge then why is it still impossible to play a online PC game with there CD key gens?? The truth is, printing unique id's on every disk that leaves a factory is just not worth it, the real deal is hudreds maybe into the thousend disks leave with a printed id, so when you make your backup of your own bought disk, its impossible to be banned for it.

So one final word to Paradox is, I dont think your going to be coming out with any more progress, not because your **** at your so called leak, but that you have failed to make any progress since August 2003 with your diskid!

But we DO know for sure that IDs are not the same on EVERY disc for each game. I have five original NTSC/US online titles, and every ID I got from them with the utility was different than the posted IDs I had seen in forums.

So, one of two things is definitely a fact: Each disc does in fact have a unique ID, or at the very least, have had several different batches of a smaller handful of IDs pressed. I hope the batch thing is true, that would make it really tough for Sony to ban people based solely on the ID used. However, we still don't know for sure that they won't query modded a machines' BIOS and ban consoles based on that. It's technically possible, but I don't know of they have that capability or not or what they may even try, especially if they risk banning legit users.

We all didn't believe discs had unique IDs before, based on the same reasoning that it would be ineffecient and costly to do so. BUT, obviously, they didn't just put the same ID on every copy of the same game. This, at least, has been established as fact.

There's too much speculation and rumor being spread around as fact.

Explain this to me......

Some people are saying "if you like the game and want to play it online then buy it." How is playing a pirated game online anymore immoral than creating a pirated copy that is not going to be played online, its the same sh!t only in a different wrapper. The crime has been committed no matter what. Anyone who says to buy the game, and is actually making pirated backups not for online use is a hypocrit. Its like saying to someone who's stealing satelite that its ok to steal regular channels but stay away from the expensive PPV channels.

My theory is that there is many closet "Z" fans in this forum...

I'm not one of the guys going around saying 'if you like it buy it'. I'd be a hypocrite too ;)

But to answer the question... actually there is a difference when you play a copy online rather than just pirating an offline game. You are using bandwidth, and bandwidth costs money. Money that is recouped through the sales of the software.
