Only health worked.

When I tried to decrypt it I got

Max Grip Level
015E101B F042037B
42193B84 7FE9012C

999 Dog Tags
015E101C 0042037B
42193B84 006903E7

So when I take the top line off I get

Max Grip Level
42193B84 7FE9012C

42193B84 006903E7

what does the 42 represent?

Something higher than 2?

Well your maxcrypt v1.2.exe not contain Max Fix Function !

You just delete a 42 & add 20 or 10

Thus :
EG:
Max Grip Level
015E101B F042037B >> Delete the address !
42193B84 7FE9012C >> del 42 ,then add 10 = real address 10193B84 7FE9012C

OK ?

I think 42 is a pointer-based write, not a normal 16-bit write. And the data beyond the 16-bit write width in the value is either special data for a pointer write or the number of additional half-words to write in adjacent addresses. Going by the dog tags code, I'd say it's the latter, but the grip level code just looks funky.

So if 42 is a pointer address what would the real codes be for Grip and dog tags?

F01673EC 001673EF or alternativ F01673EC 0000000E

I must've been stoned when I made my original post about these, but didn't we already have this conversation?

Given what I've seen in the other games in this series, "42" will have to load a pointer from the address specified...most likely the 7FE9 and 0069 are offsets from said pointer where 012C and 03E7 will be written. Converting the MAX codes to regular 16-bit writes that way will almost certainly cause the game to crash...Can anybody verify?

Codebreaker even use Raw/Hex codes so you dont need to convert the in CB/XP Format.
