I know I run the risk of a reply like yours. Did you read the attachment? It was sent to me by a member who complained about the thread. Very difficult for me, but it is done with your interests at heart not mine. There are plenty of others offering Messiah 2 at good prices.

And yes, I am worried that too many people will order from him. Read the attachment and see what I'm afraid might happen.

When I was young pup, I use to spend my summer vacations up on my Grandfather's dairy farm.

One day while we were out walking in the pasture, I noticed a bull up on the back of a cow.

But we are not out to scam anyone just to offer good prices and service,again a lot of people are greedy and want to extract as much money from people as possible we don't see the business this way,we are actually starting a revolution of this whole business and will turn it upside down.
A lot of traders will post stuff to try to put us down,but in the end the customer will win and as a few people come over the rest of the crowd will follow!

I finished reading that post and I will say one thing: Better be safe than sorry. I've been burned a few times on broken/DOA items with no contact before. But, luckily its never been a large amount of money. It would be best to at least contact a few (3-5) members of a forum to see who is reliable or not. Better yet, just post a list of reliable retailers out there who won't give you the bull. I'm from Texas so the Bull story was kinda on base. Thanks for the warning, and watch out young children b/c some creepy evil resellers will SERVICE YOU WELL if you let them!!! Then, you'll feel like this :cry: :cry:

I personally feel that you guys are charging a rather high price for the Messiah2 chips. I agree that you have to make some money out of this, but the price($70 incl shipping) is a little too high, considering the fact that we all know how much the MEssiah2s are at cost price.

From where I come from, such easy profits are not easy to come by, as we have alot of competition amongst the many retailers here, and they often undercut each other's pricing, as a result, we are used to getting "good" prices.

That extract says nothing except the low level of modchip dealers in generall. The only post "many people" have been ripped or simular but there is no real references.

I don't know about the M2:s but I got my magic 2 ordered very fast and the work as expected.

We the resellers are the one's paying thousands of dollars buying in bulk so we can get that lower price. We are supposed to give them to you at the same price when you just want to buy one? Does not work that way. If you do not like someones prices, do not buy from them. We all no what people use mods for. You complain over 50 to 70 dollars and that people who are selling mods are over priced and we are ripping off the end user with high prices when your going to be stealing thousands of dollars worth of software with that 50 to 70 dollar purchase. Give me a break.

That thread I attached was the basis of complaint I received by e-mail. It effs and cees and threatens voilence. We just don't want that here. WHere Evolutionmods goes, that happens.

He hasn't contributed any value to this forum and he has pissed off a lot of people elsewhere. He may well be doing a fine job for some with Magic 2 Clones, but we don't want his brand of aggression here. That's all there is to it.

As it happens I checked through the factory and he hasn't ordered Messiah 2s there under any name we know of - he might have another access route, of course.

Anyway, I've left his advert up and I'll give it a day or more stickied.

LOL Face it, you're fairly new here yourself, nec, and as such your reputation is certainly subject to scrutiny too (especially the way you initially showed up and bitched about not liking this place and not knowing anyone.)

If someone is willing to live with what seems like a lower profit margin than you, that's entirely up to them. If you only ordered 50 and he ordered 500, obviously he can afford to offer lower pricing and still make a reasonable return on his investment.

That's just the way of the world... ;)

I gotta add my 2 bits in on this. I've been reading this thread with quite a large amount of amusement. I'm not a vendor, I'm not an installer, I'm just your semi-above average schmoe that knows a thing or two about a few things. Personally I think "Price Wars" are needed and healthy for us the CONSUMERS. Yeah it may not be fair that seller X can buy a larger quanty of product Z and sell it for a lower price than sell Y...but hey, in the long run it is customer satisfaction that will bring the people to the vendor.

Think of your favorite video rental place...it may not be the best prices in town but you go there because you like the selection, or their staff, or know that the title you want will be there. Now when we consumers see the vendors resulting to foul language and threats of violence...how does that make you look to us. Think we care about your prices at that point in the game. NOPE! All we will remember is that you said "F This, F you, blah blah blah" and will totally skip you over when it comes time to buy something.

For vendors/retailors....reputation is Key. I for one would never buy from a foul mouthed, rude, arrogant, and beligerant seller. I think that most people wouldn't. So that's all I really have to say. To all you arguing vendors out there, life in general isn't fair. So don't get all bent out of shape when somebody does something better than you can...because down the road there's gonna be another guy that out does that guy...that's how it goes. No matter what you do and how good you are at it there is always always always someone out there that can do it better and cheaper than you.

If anything, vietnamese has proven that he cares about his customers and wants to do alot of business at a great price. Its not ALL about making a buck. Yes, I know, you run a business to make money but some settle with less profit, others more.

Like Cpt_Obv.. said, some people will shop at the cheap, high quantity Home Depot and others will go to the more expensive local hardware shop. There is enough room for a variety of sellers but necrolop, demonstrating that all you care about is making bigger profits than the other guy does nothing to persuade us, your potential customers, to go with you! You should be afraid of your attitude scaring away customers rather than your slightly higher prices.
