Old Magic 3 with a switch... can I play online?

Hi, I have an old Magic3 chip (the one that chokes with the Kingdom Hearts intro movie) with a switch installed (to turn it off so it doesnt choke).

Now, if I play with an original game with the chip turned off by the switch, will I have a DNAs problem?
