Well firts of all I set otu with the plan to let everyone know the truth. I posted this at Ownz (skip to near the end as its the topic in the news forum, look at my opinion near the bottom titled 'now for MY points' lol) -

I fully understand why you couldnt post the URL to the forum where charlie made that post as it is a competing forum.
Thus I have gone to the trouble of copying the thread otu and posting it here so everyone can see it and judge for themselves.

charlie_ps2 : Z banned me from PS2Ownz!!

Those of you who are members at PS2OWNZ can take a look there. I've been silent on the site for the past week because of a message that Z sent me and to which he didn't reply to my reply.

I assure everybody that I was not in dispute with Z - I play a completely straight game - and had no sharp exchanges with him.

He basically said in his PM to me that being a member of PS2Newz (perhaps he meant in the hierarchy) was incompatible with his plans for membership at PS2Ownz. Whilst he didn't direct that remark specifically at me, he used the phrase "....if ya catch my drift".

So two things:
Members of Ps2Ownz, draw your own conclusions

it seems if you are not 100% pro magic2 or magic3 product they don't want you to voice your opinion.

I heard that other non magic people/places have also been banned from that site.

even thou things like dvd9 have come up and we are lucky that we can talk about that stuff here, but there they will not stand for anyone getting out of line.

I guess that means by PS2OWNZ, is they want to OWN you.

PS2OWNZ = Saddam.
I wonder if they also have votes on that site like in IRAQ, with only one choice.

That's right. I play it straight and when i get Magic 3, it'll be tested and you'll know my findings. I correspond regularly with Mr. Magic 2 (now Magic 3!) and we are indeed friends.

Before RUMORS start flying, I just wanted to inform everyone first-hand that the somewhat well-known Charlie_PS2 decided to rip on PS2OWNZ on (2) competing forum boards which was brought to my attention. I gave Charlie_PS2 a warning to remove the posts before any action was taken, but he decided to disregard my warning and pretend nothing occurred so I revoked his posting privileges. He is NOT "banned" as he claims, he simply cannot post here using his "Charlie_PS2" account I am not posting this to ask for your approval/disapproval on the way I handled this, but to simply inform everyone of what occurred and why.

The following statement Z made is untrue.

Can anyone find the alleged offending statements on www.ps2****.net and www.file******.com or anywhere else for that matter in the period up to 10 days ago when I stopped posting at PS2Ownz?

Actually I forsee an abrupt division coming soon... absolutely nothing against you personally as you are one of the more prominent, resourceful, and informative members here. I never said PS2Ownz was inferior. Where did I say that anywhere?

It's membership are great people. They are the forum not Z. Most of them will not find out that Z has no told the truth and that's the pity.

jsmith385 : I think it is fairly obvious that PS2Ownz is a very biased "news" source. They only seem to bring news from advertisers and busineses that bring them revenue.

If the Messiah2 works as advertised--I do trust Charlie's review--it would be a far superior solution to the mods that PS2Ownz practically advertise in the message boards.

I thought it was strange that PS2Ownz doesn't allow URLs except for sites that sponsor them.

That's right, the cost price is just $5 or less (in quantity), and they're selling for "just" US$ 3500 (100pcs), in other words, US$ 3000 of real income.

Messiah2 is far more powerful than magic3, I know the both ICs I do a compare and there're no doubt about that.

But I wanted to order about $5000 worth of the swap covers taht ps2ownz is making, and they are the biggest lot of un-business like goofs in the world! I straight up have been emailing them wanting to place an order, and they keep saying "Great! Email this guy"...truly a bunch of donkeys....

Since Charlie and his "mate round the corner" ahev helped me on a number of areas, including a new case mod we are working on, I have decided to pull my advertising dollar from their ps2cover.com site and I wont be ordering any of them as it stands. I am simply afraid of what will happen to my money and reputation getting involved with them. Banning Charlie was the straw that broke the camels back.

Anyways...just thought I would share, and voice my appreciate for Charlie and his contribution to the mod chip scene....half of us would have broken ps2s if it weren't for him.

Up until the day before yesterday, whilst I was not posting on PS2Ownz, I was dealing with support for members in difficulty by use of PM. There hade been NO comuication from Z since the exchange I had pblished in this thread.

Yesterday on my first attempt to log in to PS2Ownz, I discovered I was banned or whatever Z likes to call it. So if Z has sent me any PM it must have been in the previous 24 hours which I haven't been able to read 'cos I'm banned!

First of all I garuntee this post gets nuked and I get banned, why? Just proves their point even more cos I'll get banned for do nothing wrong at all except telling the other side of the story, whats wrong with that? Even so, if you cared so much for your members then you wouldn't hide anything from them and you wouldn't restrict them to what they can and cant see. From what I can see you've been biased a hell of alot, I have huge respect for charlie as I know hundreds of other people do - why would he lie? He doesn't need to! The only thing he's sed is what is above in that link, on which a member says something and he comments "I resemble that" and YOU ban him for THAT?

Exactly what I have been saying since I have been visiting both sites but recently I've seen what Z is like and I'm sure as hell not gonna put up with it. To sum it up really he minipulates. Newbies are kept like say in the corner or shadows and they dont see anything wrong with him (like I did at one point) but then when your more than a newbie you see this all going on and realise what he's like.
