Is it worth trying to play on dialup and do only a few isp support sony network adapter? I have netzero platinum and it don't seem to setup. So I was thinking u need an isp with compat software but I don't want to keep switching to find out. Netzero charges a $1.95 a min for tech support.

dialup is always a bitch when trying to set up through the network adapter software. i would suggest what loy said and just hook up your ps2 to your pc and have it share the dialup connection..

yeh, most routers do not even support 56k modems, I'm pretty sure my 4 port Linksys router doesn't...

No, with windows xp, I could connect my lan up to this computer, which is a linksys router and dial a connection, and it will share that connection on the internet through the lan.

so you hook the computer 56k modem to phone then NIC 10/100 to linksys and then use linksys to ps2 NA then i guess u do window xp home network as host. Does the NA then establish a client? I have a uplink, wan and 1-4 connection on this router.
Will it work?
