It's Genesis and it gets posted periodically in the playstation2 newsgroup. I've also seen a NES emu, but that's it so far...

LOL Newbie, eh?

alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2 and alt.binaries.squaresoft for DVD rips to CD-R and alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2.dvdiso for full DVD images created with PrimoDVD.

Most ISPs also provide some sort of NNTP news service. Check with your ISP as to how to configure your news reader to access their news server.

You can get away with the news reader in IE or Netscape, but I highly suggest you download and install Free Agent from www.forteinc.com as it is 1000 times better at handling and combining multi-part binary file transfers (plus it also handles the latest yENC encoding.)

Keep in mind that many ISP news servers are an afterthought and aren't very good, nor do they carry all the available news groups. Two things to look for are: Article retention time (how long they are available on the news server before being pushed off by newer posts) and Completion (i.e. are all the multi-parts there and available.)

Two very good premium news services are: Easynews (www.easynews.com) and Usenetserver (www.usenetserver.com) These are both paid subscription services, but they carry ALL the news groups, plus you get what you pay for in return.
