The only thing like that i've heard of is a gameboy emulator for the psx, but it was just a development thing. It needed a link cable from the pc to the ps and then it loaded the roms off the pc, which seems kind of useless considering how many pc gb emus there are. :) If anyone knows more about it than me, and would like to explain it better, that would be cool :D See you later duders.

After the kind of shit that I got when I was working on PGEN, do you really expect _anybody_ to do it? I certainly dont.

- Sjeep Did you get flamed???? It's the best emu on PS2 I've ever seen! (I liked SNES more, but your emu is better than SNES-Station)

I don't understad why someone with such results could be flamed...

It's sad that such idiots exists :( Now I know why there aren't new versions....

no doubt you learned the hard way that no one is to be trusted in the scene I bet you heared all the rush about the new released UltraHLE which turned out being a fake... And that release was posted in many emu sites... Sometimes they may be right on being so distrusted with emu creators...

GBA emulation is still very contraversial but there are also lots of legitimate demos and full homebrew games for it that will keep even the purists happy. Even running commercial games are not strictly harming the GBA sales, because they are aiming *portable* gaming, so emulating them on a non portable system do not harm the real target.

P.D.
When you said that you were "flamed" I tought it was about you release, I've seen other emus being discontinued by things like "It runs slow, Fix It!!", "It does not run my prefered game, you are a loser", and stupid comments like those.

Sjeep, keep the good work, remember that for each sucker in the emu scene, there are at least other 5 people that are happy with the emus around... We get bad statistics because the happy people don't complain, and because of that you get less positive email, but that doesn't mean that kind of people don't exist.

Greets and congrats on your great work!

Loco: Thanks for the support, I do appreciate it.

The flaming etc that I was getting never really stopped me before (allough it almost did). Thats not the reason why work on PGEN has stalled. I stopped working on PGEN because:

1) IMHO, PGEN is pretty complete as it is. Its got most of the features that I originally intended it to have, and runs at a decent speed.

2) I have other, more interesting projects to work on now.

Hopefully somebody with coding knowledge will be willing to take over PGEN development. Otherwise it will stay as-is, which I think its pretty damn good anyway :D

What about SNES Station? Will Hiru ever finish working on it?

Hiryu has told me that he's already given snes-station a decent speedup. Now he needs to code the new gui, add a few new features, and he'll be ready to release beta 2. Dont worry, all hope is not lost.

yeah LOCO i AGREE 100 percent all the way on your comment just because some TWATS think the emu is no good coz it dont play a certain game properly they need fucking shooting.

they have NO IDEA about how much work went into this project(and neither do i really)BUT needless to say I really, REALLY like your work SJEEP nothing but quality Mate.Keep up the good work. Also i would like to see an update of an already OUTSTANDING emulator which i might even attempt to finish what SJEEP started so long as i got the OK from him coz i couldn't do that sort of thing without consent first.

REMEMBER ROME WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY

BTW I have seen WORSE Megadrive Emulation on a PC so to the peeps who do nothing more than complaining about SJEEP + HIRYUS work just fuck off and do better yourselfs.

WELL DONE LADS !!!!!

i am very impressed with SNES and MD emulation on the ps2 !!!!!

I was thinking, is there any way a java machine could be converted over to the ps2? I know the whole lack of keyboard could be tricky, but it might make porting other stuff over a bit easier. It would be interesting to try and do if nothing else.

Hmm, i would love to pick up the work on it, but i need to learn some coding first. Right now im readin up on it because i currently dotn have a modchip.
