newbie hacker needs help!

ok, i recently have become very intrigued about game hacking. i have some questions and favors to point me in the right direction. i have read the guide over and over again and im confused about one part where its says.."I suggest you should test each line under 00169d54
you might find some surprising results.

00169d78 24420001 < Level Up Code.".......well how do you test it before you convert it to the aplicable cheat devise?

also, some examples you have a link to in the guide section. inorder for me to get a better grasp on what is going on i need to follow the example with the exact same file and the file needed is GTA3 SLUS file (SLUS_200.62). i have kazaa and it shows no results in the search field. and i dont have a dvd drive to get the file my self. ant assistance in this matter from anyone is welcomed and apreciated!:crazy:

The GTA III SLUS is a executable and are not allowed to trade or anything, ask someone via PM, and you cannot test if the code is working if you don't try it out first.

so you have to covert it to codebreaker to try it out then? and the slus file you say cant be traded..hmmm.....shit oh well guess i gotta buy a dvd drive. but in the meantime who would you suggest i PM for the file. i just wanna make sure im on the right track before i get to deep in it and look back and see that i have missed something important. thanx ahead of time
