NEOKEY on SCPH-39001

I installed the NEOKEY mod wire in my v7 39001 ps2 and it boots all my psone backups fine. Now my original games are loading extremly slowly if loading at all and all of the ps2 backups i try to load seem like they're going to work and it's trying to load them, but it jumps from the black screen after pressing "x" at the gameshark screen to the RED "please insert playstation
game disc" screen? I have tried a numerous ammount of times
