i know this sound very stupid.
whats the best modchip out there for pal ps2, in terms of price, compatibility and ease of installation
please, i need help...

These are mutually exclusive requirements. Messiah is the best out there for PAL PS2 because it does everything no swap. So, of course, it costs more and is more difficult to install. Apart from origachip (which is also not easy to install), nothing else is worth installing unless you want endless hassle playing DVD-Rs or EA games or rips > 650MB.
