Dartimpex seem to think so as their latest email advert offers DMS3 2.1's. Though there's no mention of it on the DMS site

is it gonna be hardware or software upgrade?

Prob hardware. They are using 1.3 software now. If it were software you would think it would be 1.4

v2.1 will be an upgrade for hardware part.
Perhaps no more problems, or not that many problems, found it as interference in some wires.
And perhaps compatible with SCPH-50000.
We'll know when it's all, but is another hardware (PCB) for sure.

So, v2.1 is a dms3 clone?!

whoa ! I have just noticed the typo error on the newsletter. We only sell original DMS so there is NO copy or whatever.
The version we offer is the chip from the DMS3 team. Sorry !

What game currently has DNAS protection? Does midnight club?

The only game that supports DNAS, if i remember correctly, is EQOA. I belive that FFXI will support it as well, but it seems to be a trend for the MMORPG's only.

MVP 2004 has DNAS protection. I don't play games online, but how do I fix this protection? My backup will not even boot because of this DNSA protection. Is there a patch or do I have to use SwapMagic/DiscIDUtility? I have GS1.9, v4PS2 with a NEO 2.5. Thank you in advance for your help.

This is only an issue for playing online, so you shouldn't be affected. You either have a bad burn or it is because of your ghetto mod.
