I have made working PS2mame cds , But I cannot get
Snes-Station to work. It boots to a black screen and stops.
Is there a limit to the # of roms, do i need to shorten the names,
or do i need to make a GAMELIST.TXT file???
I have followed the SNES STATION Tutorial 5 times with the
same results.....Any help would be appreciated....

I've got like 16 roms and copied them to give me a total of 32 roms. The screen stills goes black on me after the disclaimer what do i do.

are you using cdgenps2 to make the iso files? That should help a little, because you have to put the system files in a certain order to boot it correctly. Too bad their support went down with their site, otherwise i'd tell ya the order the files need to be in, since i had the same problem

I did it first Try all i did was get Snes-Station and followed the guide on the site i used the non-solder instructions coz my friend has a no mod V5 and it works in my magic2 system aswell perfectly.

when you are using CDgenv2 be sure to change the value of LBA on the FIRST FILE ONLY, please note when you put your roms into the mix aswell they WILL appear above the files your supposed to put first but that Does NOT matter,
BTW I didnt shorten the names of ANY roms I just put them in the roms file in alphabetical order, I only used 30 but it does the trick 4 now(until i get chance to try more than that)ALSO I will try to find a limit for it but i dont think there is on

AND BE SURE TO UNZIP ALL ROMS and you should be fine !!!!!

SNESStation Site is still up, without updates, but still up: http://snes-station.emuunlim.com/

PGen and IMBNes are down, though :( It seems they didn't pay the hosting.

(I haven't tested this by myself because I have a no-swap chip and this process is not required) but there says that the only file you need to "Fix LBA" is "SYSTEM.CNF" but you need to add all files into the workspace. Ah! It also says that order matters...

SYSTEM.CNF
SNES_EMU.001
SNES_EMU.002
SNES_EMU.003
"roms" folder

It works like a charm........Snes station rules, we also had problems with the black screen, but the we added 20 or more roms in the "roms" folder it worked.

when can we see a N64 emu??? ......i would love to play ZELDA on my PS2........
