ive heard that you can play every game online game as in backup form other than everquest because EQ will say it sees your mod and bans you. is this true?

Yep, newer games will have this feature too, its called DNAS.

Is this going to be true for SOCOM 2???? what about midnight club 2 and auto modellista?? i thought those could be played with backups online....???:confused:

MC2 and Automodellista work fine online.

As for Socom 2 and future 'protected' titles, wouldn't a Gameshark/Codebreaker be able to disguise the mod?

i got a magic 3.1 in my ps2 yet i play eqonline with no problem just got a free demo in the mail for 7 day tril at least that worked great no problems at all.

If a game has DNAS, can codes be used?
Im asking this in hopes of no cheaters in Socom 2

Yes, codes can be used. don't worry though, socom 2 will have protection against cheaters.

possible but won't go out for the public because Sony would really go medievil in all our asses...
