Im looking for a savefile for this game in NPORT format, specifically a save with the updated rosters, all the movesets and caw parts unlocked, along with the movies. If anyone can help me out with this id appreciate it, thanks.

PS: Is there a way to convert sharkport saves to nport saves?

The beta of Save Slicer 1.3 can convert Sharkport/Xport saves to nPort format, it requires npo-x.exe as well tho :)

You can download it from www.ps2savetools.com only members can download it though (it's free and details don't get passed onto anyone, it's a way of controlling a beta release and getting feedback) :)

I could only find Save Slicer 1.2 on that site, and i cant find an option in that to convert files, only extract stuff within a file, and i dont know where to get npo-x.exe, could you tell me whats goin on here?

Thanks

EDIT: I found out that I have npo-x.exe already, and i read the faq on the site, it says split the save file, but im not sure what you have to do to get it to be a nport save file

After you sign up you can access the beta forum which includes the link to 1.3 beta 2 (which is the version you want), if you still cannot find it I will walk you though doing it manually with 1.2 and npo-x.exe :)

hmm, you should end up with an .npo save somewhere. Did you set the location of npo-x.exe in the options?

By the way i made a new index with the tool on your site

EDIT: oh great, another problem, for some reason i cant send files to my comp either, it gives me a cannot send file error, using the cygwin compiled version of pksh to do this stuff btw

Right, I'll start looking at making a new beta that doesn't rely on npo-x.exe as a few people have also had small problems with it :)

You using the latest versions of pksh and tried inlink at all?

Im using the cygwin compiled version of it i found in this thread

http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7852&perpage=15&highlight=pukklink&pagenumber=1

and pukklink is the version 0.1

I did try inlink, would always crash giving me a runtime error 2 message
The main problem right now is that i cant get any files on my comp to display on pukklink, the index file is created and yet it doesnt display anything.

Pukklink and it's clients have recently been updated (http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10998), make sure you are using the latest versions :)

I tried downloading the pksh updated file, and when i extract it i get all these files i dont know what to do with, im assuming its for linux, which is why the fellow in the previously linked thread converted it to a windows application, meaning i cant use it. :(

By the way i appreciate you trying to help me gothi

EDIT: I tried to use the new pukklink with the old pksh but that doesnt work, i read somewhere its because of protocol changes or something.

PS: Do you have aim or msn or something? It would be easier if we could communicate this way.

Tried the latest version of inlink? I thought that was the win32 client?

I'm afraid I can't really help you with Pukklink and it's clients as I don't use it :( You might get some more help with it in the Homebrew forum though :)
