Hi!
I have a v4 PAL machine with a no-solder modchip. The problem I'm having is booting homebrew stuff (PSMS, Dreamspec etc.)
I use AR2 v2.02 to swap and each time I swap with a copy of PSMS or Dreamspec, PS2 hangs at a garbled AR screen.
I've used the Nero Dreamspec image from the official site which is supposed to work according to the author. (I Patched it to PAL with a ntsc2pal util)
The PSMS image I've created according to the information from the official website and this tutorial. http://www.geocities.com/darkflare9x/psmstutorial.html
All the backups I've made of my originals run just fine.
So my question is, do I need to do some additional patching to the images I've created? (Or is it even possible to get these running with the No-Solder chip?) Any thoughts appreciated.
