PS2Mame on V4 non solder modded PS2

How in the blue hell do I get this burnt?? Ive tried numerous differant ways and they never work using the AR2 swap method.. Can someone please let me know if its possible to use this Emu on my V4 non solder modded PAL PS2?? :cry:

The 1st few burns were only about 30mb mate... Me just getting fedup with it not working! Should I try using something other than nero to burn the iso that is created?? Please post as much info as possible mate :)

I used cdgenps2 to make the iso.. system.cnf was changed to 12231 but i didnt know that system.cnf had to be anywhere special on the disc???

I've got it working on a no-solder v4 system, though it's NTSC and with a GameShark. Does your disc boot to any screen at all or just spin? For awhile I had it booting to a black screen with a blue border until I realized my rom names were too long..should be <=8 characters each I think. Also try CDRWIN..

I've been running it on a no-solder NTSC V4 with a GameShark V2.01 using the method @ http://www.gamegizmo.com/index.php?sID=4&dID=46. I used CDGenPS2 V2 to create the image and Nero to burn it. I used the the tutorial @ http://www.ps2newz.net/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=12 Also, (off the top of my head) once I created the image in .bin format using CDGenPS2 I opened it in Nero using the 'Burn Image' option under 'File' and once the dialog popped up I selected mode 2.

dude....i'm using a non-solder chip and also an AR2....works sweet for me and i just simply throw the files anywhere on the disc....

only thing is i use CDR-Win 3.8a to burn it...

I'm using a soldered neo 2.2, ar2.2. I set the disk up exactly as shown in the 'how to' .... and I can't get it to boot either! I've tried burning with nero5, cdrwin 4.0 and fireburner... disk spins then does nothing, leaving the AR screen up. Rom names are all =<8 chars and total size is 610mb.....HELP!!!!!

Done it.

Using fireburner I selected disk at one (instead of track at once or session at once) and it worked fine! I also managed a working version with as iso file through cdrwin 4.0!
