I've had a hard time joining other peoples games.I get this meesage telling me its either their firewalls or mine.I'm pretty sure it's not mine.I've never had any problems joining/hosting in socom or listening/speaking on the mic. Also I've never had any problems hosting/joining on xbox live or with the headset there.I've hosted 2 games on mc 2 just fine. The first there was 2 other people but one left/booted so we went 1 on 1.Then the second I had 5 other people and it was crazy fun!!! There wasn't even any lag.But when I try to join a game 4 times out of five I can't.The 1 time I did get in they were still waitng to start but the host said he couldn't start and left.Maybe its cause you can't join a game late or once it started?

I've joined a few games today that ran good so it's probably not a big problem.Maybe they were still woking out some kinks yesterday and now it's running better.

i had a problem where i couldent join MC2 games, couldent connect to THPS4 master server, and also couldent connect to auto modellista.
but madden 2003, socom, tmb online all worked flawlessly.
i found out it was because i had the dcc port range, 1024-5000 forwarded to my pc in my router, so anything coming in on those ports was going to my pc and not the connection that requested them.
so i assume those games i was having probs with were using those ports, and any data coming in was going to the pc instead of the ps2.
to fix it i took the forwarding off of those ports, set ip reservation for the ps2, so that it would always get 192.168.0.4 and then set that ip as a DMZ server so that the NAT router wouldent ever interfere with the ps2.
now i have no problems with any of the games i said dident work, i can host and join fine now.

My copy of MC2 is a rip, and works fine (although there are only like 2-3 games visible at any given time)
